The Best of 2019

2019 has been filled with some of the best moments and things. To wrap 2019, here are a few of my favorite things from this past year.

Travel

Boston!

This trip was one of my favorites because it was a trip that I planned and went on on my own. I loved how I was able to do things independently. I roamed the historic streets of Boston, ate delicious food, devoured sweets, and took time for myself. Doing things on your own doesn’t mean you’re alone, it’s a time for you to respect your own space, get to know yourself, and enjoy life without depending on anyone else.

Food

Oh how I love to eat and try new things to eat. This year, I definitely consumed a lot of…. ICE CREAM! I think I ate more ice cream this year than the entirety of my life! What made eating ice cream so special and memorable this year was the many delicious places that always switch up their flavors. This makes getting ice cream more fun and exciting.

Fashion

This year, I tried fashion trends I’ve never thought I would, created simple outfits into something more unique, and stayed stylish while being comfortable. Here are my top 5 favorite fashion looks of 2019.

1. My Unicorn Costume

My fifth grade team and I decided to be Teacher Unicorns this Halloween. Adding lots of sparkle and glitter made it feel so magical and fairytale like. I definitely felt like a unicorn princess.

2. My Striped Top

I wrote a blog post about how to style a striped top and I ended up wearing this top quite frequently this past summer. I loved the colors of the top, the fit of it, and loved how the stripes turned a simple outfit into something more unique.

3. My High Waisted, Flare Jeans

I wore these jeans all season long. They are so comfortable and I was able to style them with any type of weather.

4. My Corduroy Skirt

I never thought I would own or wear anything corduroy, but this skirt is a game changer! This skirt was definitely a summer and fall staple in my closet.

5. My Athletic Wear

This year, I really challenged myself to be active for at least 30 minutes every day and go to the gym no less than 3 times a week. I’ll be real and admit that this didn’t always happen, but wearing comfortable and athletic attire that I liked made being active a whole lot easier.

There have been way too many memorable events in 2019. But, I’m so excited for the adventures that 2020 will bring and all the fashion trends that I will experiment with.

Thank you all for a great 2019, I’ll see you all in 2020!

Hello! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Thank you!

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. Is there any method you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
