Target Christmas 2020: Decor

This is my first Christmas in my new home, so yes, I want to decorate it by making it look magical, cozy, and Christmas-y. I took a trip to Target and found sooo many decorations that I wanted. But while I was browsing and dreaming of a winter wonderland themed home, I noticed that things started to add up… $$$$ Although my home might not look like all the beautiful homes I see on Pinterest, I’m setting a budget of $100 to spend on Christmas decor at Target. Here’s a snippet of how my holiday decorations turned out!

A White Berry Wreath with Pine Cones

Wreath: $20

A Garland intertwined with Twinkle Lights

Garland: $30

Twinkle Lights: $5

Mini Stockings

Stockings: $5 each

I haven’t been liking any stockings for myself (I am very picky apparently…) So, I decided to get stockings for my dogs, Cookie and Oreo, instead. Honestly, I don’t mind because these mini stockings are the cutest ever! I’m, or should I say the dogs, will be so excited to open and devour all the treats I’m stuffing in their stockings this year.

Christmas Candles

Candles: $5 each

These two scents have been my go-to this holiday season. They smell so nice and really remind me of Christmas. These candles are affordable, long lasting, and make your home smell cozy and Christmas-y. They have many different scents, so sniff out ones that are to your liking.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Pinecone Ornaments: $3 for a pack of 8

16 count Ornament Set: $3

Twinkling Lights: $6

Thankfully I was given a Christmas tree, so I didn’t need to worry about spending money on one this year. I wanted to keep my tree very simple and quaint, so I went for a gold tone with some glitter and pink to go along with some twinkling lights.

FYI: The ornaments are small! They were a great size for me and my tree because I want a minimalistic, dainty looking tree this year. Check out my Instagram to see my holiday stories and my tree! Knowing me, I love simple, clean, and all things mini sized.

Grand Total

Target is having sales on Christmas items plus, if you get the Cartwheel app, you can snag more discounts. Also, if you are a Target card holder like me, you get 5% discount per transaction. So with all the deals and discounts, I ended up spending a little less than $100. Woohoo!

With my purchases, I loooove how my home is looking and smelling. It may not be Pinterest perfect, but it brings me joy that I budgeted to have holiday decor that brings the Christmas feel to my home. I can’t wait to see all the creative ways you will bring the holiday joy and spirit this year!
